Stem Cell Treatments
The concept of stem cell research always seems so futuristic but at Cell -Innovations we are paving the way for new medical treatments…
From old to new…
The previous methods used to extract stem cells involved the use of enzymes and culturing. During this process the stem cell count was often lost or lowered. However, our Cell-Innovations technology is a highly efficient and cost effective alternative that provides a much higher stem cell count than traditional technologies. The package that we offer to clinics will help treat a variety of conditions that are otherwise lengthy and difficult to treat. With our ultrasonic cavitation process you can ensure that your practice is staying up to date with its technology and methods.
The conditions that stem cells can help treat…
With our innovative technology we are helping advance the medical treatment procedure. Often our technology is used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis. Mesenchymal stem cells have been reported to have affects by:
- Anti-inflammatories: Often these are easier on the body and the immune system.
- Trophic support: Angiogenesis via cytokine secretion.
- Differentiation: This allows the regeneration of neural tissues.
- Homing system: Cells are able to target and go to the site of damage.
- Revascularization: New blood vessels can grow.
- Anti-apoptosis: A preventative measure for cell death.
There are over 1.5 million Australians that are suffering from osteoarthritis, with our innovative technology able to treat this condition the demand is increasing significantly. At Cell-Innovations we believe that the demand for this therapy will only increase with time and availability.
Let’s talk about our technology and what it does for medical treatments…
Our innovative technology works through a series of steps to extracted adipose tissue, which can be used treat some of the previously listed conditions. Adipose tissue or body fat is the loose connective tissue composed mostly of ‘adipocytes’. Adipose tissue also contains the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) and its main role is to store energy in the form of lipids, although it also cushions and insulates the body. We use this to easily harvest cells with a less intrusive technic. Our mini liposuction process is significantly less painful then other more traditional cell extraction techniques. Our technology is also more effective because it can gather more cells (50-1000 times more in fact) and with lower risks.
